RAVA-SEMOLINA (SOOJI) HALWA RECIPE


Rava/Semolina (Sooji) halwa is a quick and easy process which is favorite for all often made in most Indian kitchens. It takes not more than 15mins breakfast recipe. To cook Rava/Semolina (Sooji) halwa is very simple everybody can cook it easily with less time consuming and it’s a healthy food for all.

Ingredients
  • 1 Cup rava/semolina (Sooji)
  • 3 Spoons tbsp ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1 ½ Cups water
  • ½ Cup Sugar as per your taste
  • 10-20grm peanuts (badam)
  • ½ Cup cashew nuts (kaju)
  • 5-10gm raisins
  • ¼ teaspoon Cardamom Powder
Instructions
  1. Heat the pan. Add 3 Spoons ghee (clarified butter) into it and fry all Cashew nuts (kaju), peanuts and raisins (kismis) for 2 mins until brown.
  2. Then add 1 cup Rava/Semolina (Sooji) on a low flame. Keep on stirring in between so that the Rava/Semolina (Sooji) does not burn and roast it until golden-brown.
  3. Then add 1 ½ Cup Water into pan, stir it properly.
  4. Add the ½ Cup sugar to the rava/semolina (Sooji) add liitle bit salt as per your taste.
  5. Add ¼ teaspoon Cardamom Powder and mix it properly.
  6. And your Rava Sheera Or Sooji Halwa Recipe is ready for taste and enjoy it.
